What grades are these?

    These were passes down to me in abag with approx. 300 other silver quarters of all types, these were significantly in better shape than most of the others. the dots around the shield are nicely visible unlike all the others I have....Give me some good news coin friends.......Thanks

    better than your last coin lol. what do the reverses look like? date on 1st kinda bad.

    VG seems about the best you could say for any of them.

    I took the '17D out of holder.....the photo makes the coin look bad.....those tiny spots are magnified it really has alot of detail

    The 1917-D Type 1 is a $70 coin in F12 and $100 in VF20, per Numismedia.

    I'd call that a $75-ish coin, and not bad looking.

    It's got some little hits and a slightly discolored spot on the reverse, but looks uncleaned and original, which is good.

    Edit: no, wait- that's not a discolored spot on the reverse- it's a dent. Bad news. That'll knock down the value a fair bit. But it's still an OK looking piece, otherwise.

    The one shown now is easier to see and looks a good fine.

    THe three coins shown originally have been edited out and this coin looks like it came from this thread
