I payed $60 for it. Is it worth sending it off to get graded? 201401279518322795LLS.jpg 20140127_183201_LLS.jpeg

The coin looks AU to me and the surfaces don't look natural (could be the photos) so I would say no, it is not worth getting graded.

With that said, your coin does have an interesring die break or somthing going on in the left side or the oak wreath. I don't know if it is a Snow variety that could possibly add value or not.

The photo doesn't do much Justice. My phone doesn't take very good pics

It's really got a nice color. It's the phone

Looks either counterfeit or altered surfaces. Either way, it doesn't appear to be worth $60.

Well, actually I am noticing mikem2000 originally said it, so I guess I stole it from him. :(

Well, that seems a bit high to me. Based on HA, I would say Au55 goes for more like $70 in PCGS plastic.

I would say to the OP, for a raw coin, if it is real, and is not messed with, and it is AU, you slightly overpaid.

I just wanted your guys opinion. I took it to a coin show, here in, North Carolina and the the guy told me, he would grade it at a MS 63

Color looks very odd to me.

Well in that case you got a nice deal, but you now have 4 members telling you the color looks "odd", so I would be a little worried. If you think it's the camera, then take more pics with another camera and show us what it looks like in-hand as best you can.

I'd say send it on into pcgs or NGC and see what they say
