What does NR stand for?

    Sorry for the bother but I have looked all over the internet and can't find the answer. On EBAY I see coins for sale that might say "Nice coin UNC NR" What the heck does NR stand for? Thanks much.

    NR stads for "No Reserve" = No reserve price set by the seller for the product.They will take whatever price is bid.Hope this answers your question.

    Glad to learn that. Since it was used so much on ebay for coins I thought it meant NOT REALLY.

    NR stands for (NICKELS RULE)

    Haha had to put that in there after reading your post in the nickel forum!!

    Actually stands for no reserve - whatever the highest bid is wins!
