    So I found this and I'm not sure if it's a filled in D or filled in P. I'd like some opinions please. IMG_20160310_163201.jpg

    Looks like a D Mintmark to me with a hit to the lower right side :watching:

    It's a D because the P mint mark didn't appear on quarters until 1980.

    But doesnt it look weird? Like half is filled in only or is it nothing really?

    Sometimes when it takes a hit some of the metal is moved into the rest of the mint mark so it "looks" filled. BUT, sometimes the mint mark can have what is called a die chip where it is filled in. Yours may have a die chip but I cannot tell by the photo, even after enlarging it. If you get a pic solely focused in clearly of just the mint mark it might be easier to tell.
