So as the title suggest, what do you think of the new PMG holders ?

I,m normally a PCGS guy, have a few MPC sets over there that are number ones
In both Series 661 and 681 but have now gone over to PMG but the new holders
They have in my opinion are horrible :( it is for sure not an improvement over what
They had before, the holders themselves are very flimsy i compare that to there previous
Versions which were more like a hard case i think PCGS has the right idea as there holders are in the middle not to flimsy but durable, i think is the key work here
but again its just my opinion now tell me yours i have posted a poll

How about posting some examples so we don't have to look it up?

this is really more about the feel and durability of the holder, then what you can
See in a picture but i will try and point out what i can, if you haven,t had the
    Pleasure of actually holding one.

Here,s a PMG first generation holder, i dont like the way that they put the note
In to a sleeve then seal it with the holder, but the holder itself is rigid with a
Nice smooth finish, so a really good holder so why switch ?

the second example is what there using now, if you wanted it would be easy to fold
The note in half because the mil spec is of a less thickness, secondly the notes seem
to move more freely in the holder when they should be in a more set position

If you look closely the edges are crimped differently

The PCGS example is more rigid then the current offering from PMG although the
PCGS note is not with out its own controversy since it is not completely sealed
all the way you could possibly get moisture in side so good storage is essential

I didn't vote, since I use the separate pages to hold the notes and they are cheap enough and does a good job of protecting the notes. Though I DO take special care for the notes I put up for sale...

I've seen complaints over warpage in their plastic, I have a lot of skepticism over "glass-like" quality but hopefully they will be better at what they were designed for.

Yes, warpage is a great way to compare it to plus the mil thickness on the plastic
is not very thick so the notes can easily be damaged plus the notes move easily
In the holder which they become crooked, PCGS has a better holder good thickness
    And durable
