Certainly not the best out there, has some spots here and there, gives it a clouded appearance. There is also no return policy. It wouldn't be that big of a purchase, but a return policy has always been a deal-breaker for me!

I see your location is in the UK, and the listing is on eBay UK. I imagine if you browsed the U.S. site you'd get a very wide selection of the same type of coins, in better condition. (This is pending that the seller you buy from, ships to the UK)

I think it is quite nice. A couple of light spots maybe, but a clouded appearance? Most of these thing have that ugly blue haze over the whole coin. And this one actually has a much better cameo than you usually see on this issue. And if you really want it that's another plus. I think it's a good deal.

Nice coin. Reasonable price. Go for it.

I wouldn't. The coin has some spots on it and the seller didn't even get the mint right.

On the US market this coin runs about $6-$7. I believe with the conversion price this coins is already up to about $7 US. But like you said US coins are hard to find in the UK so I imagine its fair to pay a little more than what you would in the US market. For the price you can't go wrong. If you bought from a US site you might find a nicer coin for the same price, but the shipping cost to your country might not justify the purchase price. Buyers who have a no return policy kills the deal for me. I am much more comfortable bidding if I know I can return the coin if it doesn't appear as it did in the picture.

As gmaster456 pointed out this was not minted in Sacramento, but in San Francisco. At least he got the State right though...

EDIT: Guess I was wrong about the $6-$7 price. Here is one going for $14 with 11 hours left. I wasn't really thinking about the value of silver at the moment. I think this would be about $15 melt right now. The seller even makes a point that silver is almost $50 and oz and this is .3162 oz.

EDITED AGAIN: I think the one you posted looks just as good as any others I've seen on ebay right now. It has a few minor spots, but so do most of the others ones I have looked at just now.

Don't buy from other countries, you'll have nothing but headaches.

I think it's ok deal, if you buy from US dealers, the shipping price might be higher than the coin.

There is no sacramento mint, seller can't tell the difference between sacramento and san francisco

The Sacramento/San Francisco mix up is innocent enough, they got the State right, and Sacramento IS the capital. The exchange rate is tricky as it can change day to day, I believe it is close to 2:1 (1£ to $2) making this purchase roughly $8-$9 coin, plus $4-$5 shipping). This Listing is UK only. You would have to fly to England to arrange for a local pick up! I think I would pass! ;)

EDIT: OP IS from England! Me Bad. I say Go for it!!

He isn't buying from another country. The OP lives in the same country the seller is in.

I knew of course it was an error. I just could not resist pointing it out, jokingly.
