What do you call this on a Jeff Nickel

    I found this Nickel and it seems to be mis-struck, the top of Jefferson head is very near the edge of the coin
    the "T" of TRUST and the "LIB" of LIBERTY seem to have the top merged into the rim.
    Seems to have a wide rim at the bottom and no rim at the top.
    The words "FIVE CENTS" on the reverse seem a bit juddery compared to others.
    The edge of the coin at Jeffs head and on the reverse at "STATES" seem slightly thinner than the the rest of the coin.
    I`m sure this is not PMD
    Is it worth listing and if so whats it called. TIA

    I believe that is a misaligned die. If I am correct, there wouldn't be a premium. This is pretty common.

    I think GBroke is correct.

    Lehigh is the CT Jefferson guy, he can verify it.

    Got to be lot further out of alignment to get into the error big money coins.
