    Yes it was. It was not a steal, but it was a decent deal - especially if you are happy withe coin ;-)

    Wankler, you paid (with shipping) about $13 for a coin that is probably worth $20 - $25 at retail. Not a steal, but certainly a good deal!

    I agree with GDJMSP, that's an awesome deal. It appears to be an original coin...no damage...I'd buy a ton of those @ $10 each without blinking.

    Seated Liberty dimes in this condition frequently sell in the $10 - $15 range on eBay. In this particular case, there is a disconnect between dealers, eBay, and retail.

    If you compare the price paid to retail, it is a great deal. If you compare the price paid to what many dealers would be willing to pay for the same coin, you paid slightly above wholesale.

    If you compare the price paid to other comparable eBay sales, I think you got a "good deal." In any event, congratulations, you got a nice coin and a good price.
