I sent two lincoln cents to ANACS to be graded. I just received their notice of shipment now. One cent came back graded MS65 1999 TYPE II WIDE AM FS 901. The other came back MS61 1994 but no description in the variety section. It was a 165 degree CCW rev. rotation. Can anyone figure why they left this space blank. I filled out the description on the submission form just as you see it above. zeke
Could be a mistake. Call them and find out. Maybe the graders did not agree the rotation was noteworthy. Maybe the graders did not get the memo that it was to be attributed as a variety so they did not look for it. Edited, maybe you requested a variety attribution and the rotation might be under error?
Thanks for the information. Once I have it in handon Sept. 1, 2009 I will give them a call. Just for your information the MS65 designation is something I could only dream about. Actually same with the MS61.
