#1/2 - Dominican Republic (east half of the island shared with Haiti) 1 Peso, 1993 cu-ni, KM#80.2. In this case the head is on the "tails" side of the coin - Juan Pablo Duarte, described as "Father of the Country". The design on the obverse is the Dominican Republic national arms.
    #3/4 - 5 ore, 1972 bronze, KM#845.
#5/6 - Looks like Queen Elizabeth, but pictures way too dark to do more than guess the date, denomination, or whether it's from Great Britain or elsewhere in the Commonwealth.

If no one else beats me to it, I'll see what I can do about the rest later on.

#7/8 - either a bronze or copper coin, token or medal.
    #9/10 - KM#32, Trinidad & Tobago 1997 cu-ni 25¢ piece.
    #11/12 - a 50 something from somewhere.
OK, I give up. Attributing modern European and Western Hemisphere coins is relatively easy if and only if[/] the pictures are light enough, and have enough contrast, to read the legends. My old eyes just aren't up to the task with pictures like #11. When a picture is being used to ID a coin, it really doesn't matter how true the color is, so there's no reason not to edit/adjust the image to bring out the devices and legends before posting it.

13/14 and 15/16 are thailand, but I couldn't say what the denominations are without consulting Krause for picture ID.

    17/18 china, I think it's 1 fen.

19/20 the legend looks thai to me, but I don't know

21/22 the markings make me think pakistan.

    23/24 russia 3 kopek

all the rest look like great brit. to me.

Tbirde, the correct name for the Taiwanese currency is the Dollar.Krause is wrong to describe the Taiwanese currency as 'Yuan',which is actually the currency of Commie China.Pick also does the same error.Pick also wrongly refers to the currency of the Maldive Islands as 'Rupees',which is correctly
expressed as Rufiyaa.Besides,I compared the Dhivehi inscription on the 1960 2 Rufiyaa banknote
with that on the 1983 2 Rufiyaa banknote.

I say that either is acceptable. To me, I see no reason why the two terms cannot be interchangably used in reference to ROC coins (both pre- and post- 1949)

The Dominican Republic is easily confused with Dominica.Dominica is a British Commonwealth republic whose currency is the East Caribbean States dollar (EC$).Dominica issues its own banknotes, which can be identified by the letter 'D' at the end of the serial number.Dominica's notes are very attractive notes that have the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II on them.
