    Hi all,

I have these coins in my collection and I cannot figure out where they are from. I have done a decent amount of searching on the web with no luck. I'm guessing that they might be from Egypt. Sorry for the crappy pics and for the reverse shots I don't even know if i have them upside down or not. I don't know what they are made out of either. They sort of have that silver sound to them but i cant be sure. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

The 3 similar are from Egypt, the other is from Iraq
The other appears to be a token.

The man with the hat is on the 3 Egypt coins. You have the reverse depicted upside down. They are copper-nickel coins with denomination 10 Milliemes. Two are dated 1938 and one is dated 1941.

The right-most one appears to be a circa 1938-1941 5 milliemes from Egypt. The other two look like circa 1924-1935 5 milliemes from Egypt

The top-left 3 appear to be circa 1938-1943 10 milliemes from Egypt. The other one looks like a 10 millieme as well, but I'm not sure which year/country.

The Iraq coin (man with no hat) is a Nickel 10 Fils coin dated 1938.

I believe that the catalog value of these coins is something like 1 or 2 US dollars each.

The last looks like it is probably a German token, not actual currency.

Go here http://worldcoingallery.com/index.php Where it says "Choose a Country" put Iraq and you will see your Iraq coins, then put Egypt and you will see your King Farouk Egypt coins

As for the last piece, that is a medal or token indeed. In other words, it could have been made/issued by anybody. As for what is depicted, Heidelberg is a city in Baden-Württemberg, Germany; the piece shows the castle on the left and the old twon with the Neckar river on the right. The view is similar to what you see on this card. Whether the "N. Trübner" refers to Nikolaus Trübner, a Heidelberg goldsmith (1849 - 1910), I don't know. Could be a different Trübner ...

Wow! Thanks for the information everyone. Im really shocked with how much knowledge is on this forum. I have been nothing but impressed since i joined a few days ago. Thank you so much!

Christian, do you think it could be made of silver? Or does the rust like color on it pretty much kill the chances.
