A post by another member, dlp_dlp21, about finding a silver coin on the road side got me curious about what other people have found while just out and about. What are some of your finds and where/how did you find them?
I found this silver coin in the garbage many years ago! with COA! Along the FDR Drive walking to my girlfriends apt (now my wife).. it was shining in the sunlight just calling out to me!
Found a war nickel on the kitchen floor in my college apartment. Also found an Indian head Cent on the side of the road while walking to class during the same year of college that I found the nickel. I don’t remember the date of either coin. I just remember they were both very worn and not worth much.
