A Philippines $3 piece? Is there a prize if I'm right?

That's what I figured, but google is showing nothing. Maybe it's just a concept coin?

The weird thing is that "Manila" is spelled with one "l" normally, but that one has two.

I'm guessing you were able to obtain all of that information from the 6th edition, 2012 Standard Catalog of World Coins, 2001-date. Time for me to upgrade, I only have the 2nd edition of 2001-date.:smile Plus 5 other assorted hard copies and 3 digital DVDs.

Since the coin is part of the Bermuda Shipwreck series (all triangular coins commemorating famous shipwrecks), I'm going with this explanation:

Manillas were brass trade bracelets, a large quantity of which were recovered from the "Manilla wreck" in the Bermudas, named after the cargo, not the ship. The ship itself is unidentified.
