What Coin is This?

    I have a pure silver coin but have no idea where it came from? Any idea's? O nthe Back it has 2 july 1903-1978 and NORGE 50 KR

    If it is approximately 36mm wide, with the bust of King Olav V looking to your left, it's sterling (.925) , not pure silver.

    "Norge" is "Norway" in Norwegian. 800,000 of the 27g 50 Kroner coin (KM#424)were minted to commemorate the King's 75th birthday.

    BTW it's the first 50 Kroner ever issued by Norway, which reduced the weight of subsequent coins of that denomination.

    I found it with the rest of my coin sets, and was woundering what it was.
