I have this one and a Kennedy half that are like this what causes it? The Ike was dipped in easy test yesterday to help clean and show the edge.
On the back of the coin it does look like a little whitish like what alum would like like when it goes bad but this side of coin and the other are silver not white, I almost wonder if the sheet they got the planchets from was not melted right formed right?? I do not know I am just guessing.
