What caused my 2018 Dime to have a ring?

  1. I have a 2018 dime with a perfect ring mark on it and was wondering what caused this mark...

Yes.. it is just damage. The bored person that created it would know why and how it is there.. not a Mint Error.

I didn't look at all of the photos but your Dime is definitely damaged. It may be a coin that was on the end of a machine wrapped roll and the damage was caused by the machine being set too tight.

Post with photos and we'll let you know. It never hurts to ask yourself how could this have happened in the minting process?
