what can some one tell me about 1944 S/d wheat mints ??????????

    There's not a whole lot to say. Millions were minted during the war, primarily out of expended shell casings. They're worth about 3-4 cents a piece. There is a nice 1944 D/S variety out there that is worth money.

    I can tell you it's the D over S mint mark not the S over D.

    If one of those 3 in your opening post's photo is what you think is an D/S, the pics are too small to tell. Any chance you can get a close up of the date and mint mark?
