best numismatic websites I may be partial, but Error World coin clubs have been aiding tand educating the numismatic community for 2 years now. We offer many benefits not found elsewhere, like our own email system,100% free auction set up, special numismatic graphics site,a full website, and so much more.EW is a not-for-profit group so we like to say save your money and buy yourself a nice coin instead of paying to join a coin club! We have some of the leading names in the hobby as regular member's so you'll have ready access to the right people to answer your important questions. We currently have 3 club rooms covering both Error and Variety Coins, with more growth always going on.In fact,if you can't find it in EW,let me know, and if I can,I'll get it!You don't find this kind of service everywhere.Give us a try!If your interests run to other areas,I'll be happy to recommend a good club that will fit your area of interest. 8) I'll be happy to help collector's in any way I can. ~ Jim
Hey! thanks for the mention! If anyone likes reading about early US coins and their history, this is one of my favortie sites: http://www.coins.nd.edu/ColCoin/ColCoinContents/Contents12.html Tons of info. If you want to see some really cool patterns: http://www.harrybassfoundation.org/patmenu.asp Here is a number of good articles about a number of different areas of collecting: http://www.chicagocoinclub.org/projects/PiN/
You are welcome Stu, I like your idea of grading coins then showing consensus of opinions. I personally use photograde as it is the easiest and quickest and you do not have to remember much. Jess
8O Here is one if anyone like science also, this person does some neat things with coins. http://www.teslamania.com/
here are a few links to some coin sites I've collected http://www.coinbooks.org/ if you...oins http://worldcoincatalog.com/index.htm
When you gave me that link a while back, that is the one that got me started in creating a virtual museum on my web site. Mine still needs a lot of work but it is fun getting pictures of coins and then writing a little blurb about them.
Commemorating Secret Military Installations of the World I just went to tbirde Swain's site and I was impressed with the amount of work he has put into it. http://home.psknet.com/tbirde He also has coins for sale.
Hey, thanks for the links! I bought some of those shrunken coins from teslamania.com. It is neat to have a mad scientist who is willing to shrink coins. I sent him his first walker to shrink
Here is a couple of more found at the esylum: http://www.cointelevision.com http://conderclub.homestead.com/index.html
I don't know if anyone has mentioned Larry Calders http://www.texascoinstuff.com/ for supplies. He's not big time and he does not charge big time prices. He's a heck of a guy who runs a heck of a service. Jason
Could just go to Coin World, Numismatic News, The REd Book, etc web sites and/or buy the mag's, look through all the adds and make a list. Or just go to Google ane type in coins.
