I don't know because I really don't have anything screaming out at me. If I go to a coin show or a coin shop and something screams out at me then maybe I will buy it. In other words, I don't have anything on my want list yet cause I have too much stuff I need to part with first. :D

I don't know about 2014. but over the next few years I will be on the look out for a 1794 Half Dollar. just depends on what grade and eye appeal I am willing to settle for.
most likely VG. but then again my taste is always changing so who knows. LOL

  6. I'm going to work on my Lincoln cent collection. I'll be going for a few semi-keys this year. (10-14S, 22D, 24D, perhaps 31S?)

    (1) Spend less money on coins than 2013.
    (2) Submit some coins to CAC.
    (3) get my 1964 NGC Kennedy re-submitted to add the Accent Hair variety on holder.
    (4) Sell my mostly PF69UC set of Kennedy halves and use funds to pay down debt.
    (5) buy a few new affordable CAC coin for my Type set.

This year I'm hoping to come close completing my barber half set including the 1892-o, 92-s, 97-0, 98-s, all in G-6-VG-8 with of course an emphasis on originality. Just need 21 more to go! Also I'm hoping to acquire an ancient Greek tetradrachm.

i hit my 2013 silver collecting goals, both numismatic and weight, on 12/31 at 9:37am when i picked up my 2011 anniversary set at fedex...in 2014 i believe i am going to start targeting gold, especially with this recent downward trend

i hope to buy a 1921 peace dollar, a low grade trade dollar, and a capped bust half this year. my coin roll hunting goals are $50 FV in 40%, $10 FV in 90%, and the rest of the kennedy halves i still need for my set except 1970-D.

2014 Goal: Find a local bank who will order Boxes of Coins for me. It's been over a month since my last box of halves...going through withdrawal.

I left a message for the Branch Manager at a bank today. Hopefully she gets back to me tomorrow.

I will continue to work on my 20th century circulating coin collection. I'm 92.57% complete (91 left) and hope to be over 94% by the end of the year. I'm currently working on SLQ's. I also want to get a 1909-S VDB cent in 2014 (EF or better).

that is a very good question. my first goal is to organize and re-do many 2X2 coin holders. I have been thinking about selling/trading half of misc. coin collection section. problem is I have to much emotional attachment to them. I will have to figure it out. I have known for awhile now that I want higher graded slab coins for certain coins. 98% of my coins are in 2X2's and I have 5 slabbed coins. my 2014-2015 goal is to buy a slabbed Belgium 10 centimes copper coin in AU-MS (they range in $300-600). this probably will happen in 2015. my current doable goal is cheap coins with insects. I am anxious to see the date "2014" on the penny

Finish wheat set (just need S VDB), buy an AU-MS Coronet Head Large Cent, and add some more colonials to my collection as well...(just got Massachusetts, I'm thinking either a Vermontensium, Fugio, or Nova Eborac) :)

    1. Gather as much knowledge as possible
    2. Obtain certain books that I want to aid in #1
    3. Work on my RPM collection of Lincolns
    4. Start a Morgan/Walker Half collection
    5. Possibly obtain a 1955 DDO by the end of the year as the highlight of my collection

I have suddenly taken a liking to the Indian/Buffalo nickel. Tough to find nice ones at a decent price tho.

So tough to gauge a NY resolution. I would have to say downsize my collection a little. I have so many coins in the $5-$50 range that's taking up lots of space and could become a liability in the event of a break in. I'd buy up either bullion or collector pieces and throw them into the SDB.
