Just purchased a couple coins from a garage sale because I thought they looked cool, but I have no idea where they are from. Any help would be appreciated.

Well now that I looked at my own picture I can clearly see the word "copy". Can't believe I didn't see that right away.

The first one looks to be germany/austria, the second one is as you caught before I could say, a copy.

The first one looks real and is an Ein Kreutzer from Austria

The second one is a copy of an ancient Greek coin of Syracuse under the tyrant Gela ( original value is 3 or 4 digits  )

    Cheers

Correct. Its one of the most seen ancient copies around in the US. Readers Digest sent it out as a publicity piece in the 50's. I think I have had at least 10 families bring me this item to identify that "has been in the family at least 100 years". Its very common. Heck, I am pretty sure I have a couple and I would never want the dang things.
