I posted a thread to help me identify them but now I would like to know their worth. The information is also posted on my omnicoin collection. They are three ancient coins I need to know its worth. The inverse of the Roman provincial coin of Caracalla is the other way around so I didn't take a pic on its correct position. Information is already there. (I have 6 coins uploaded so far so you won't have any trouble finding these 3 ancient coins) The Constantine might be a couple of dollars and the Byzantine 1020 coin with Jesus on it might be 30 dollars. But I have no Idea what the roman is. I'd like to know the exact worth for each coin.
Probably $15-$30 on the follis, less than $5 for the Constans, and maybe $50-$60 for the Heliopolis, depending on who's buying it.
http://www.coinarchives.com/a/lotviewer.php?LotID=75179&AucID=79&Lot=1146 In this website, when they mean by estimation, do they mean by price?
That website provides auction records. The coin pictured was in Dr Busso Peus Nachfolger's Auction 378 on April 28th, 2004. At that time, the coin was estimated to sell for 150 euros, but did not sell, likey because no one was willing to meet the minimum bid.
So basically people would just buy that coin if it was for 50-60$ instead? did it sell later on and for what price?
I don't know if it sold or not. $50-$60 is just my estimate, it could be more or less. If I had the money, I would buy it for $50 or so. * *(not an offer to buy! don't hurt me, mods!)
check ebay and other sites that sell coins...that is really all we can tell you because there is no price guides out there stainless
he's the local ancient coin guy, I have asked for his advice several times, believe me.. his opinion is correct
