I have a full box of 2014 uncirculated pennies my question is what are the odds of find errors on newer coins? I have found a few that are "odd".
Aw, c'mon! I'm really getting tired of looking at pennies. (I don't care if you do call them something else!) Can't some of you get Mint bags of some other denomination? Chris
What I have noticed on some is I would get extra metal on top of the shield and a die crack by the T in cent
........but it's still just worth 1c, so all that is accomplished is stopping up the toilet without the benefit of some air freshener, if you catch my drift. Chris
There's a doubled die obverse from 2014 P that's fetching over $100 a pop. Wish I had that box! Oh and Chris, old buddy, old pal, we love our "cents"! Kidding with you man!
Last one sold on eBay: http://m.ebay.com/itm/161553626920 Wexler's listing - WDDO-002: http://doubleddie.com/1169840.html Wait, give me a little while. I don't think the eBay listing is for sure WDDO-002. I'll find it in a little while though.
Hey, we're not supposed to discuss politics on the coin forums..............but I do agree with you! Chris
I'm sending a photo to you below. This is WDDO-002. I do not have photos of WDDO-001. Also look for major die cracks in the hair, die cracks at "One Cent" on the reverse as you may also find a nice retained large die chip there also. Also at the top left of the shield, look for large die chips, most of the cracks there are minor. Good luck.
Don't rush these because at $100.00 a pop you might miss one. These markers can be difficult to see sometimes when they are so bright. I'm having trouble with the 2009 FY obverse because of that.
Yea and the box I have, ALOT of them have die cracks by the one cent and die chips on the top left of the shield...so its painfully slow looking
