What ancient book coin book to buy next??

    I am really getting the ancient coin bug after I bought my first greek coin & a couple of denarii at a local show this past weekend. I already have 3 of the Sayles books (Vol. 2, 3 & 5) and I have the Klawans "Reading & dating Roman coins/Outline of ancient Greek coins" and the new Whitman "Collecting Greek coins" books on order. What other ancient book coin book should I buy next??

    Eventually, you're going to want to build a reference library. This is an EXTREMELY expensive thing to do, as even the standard references for particular areas can cost well over $1,000. Better to figure out what you're interested in first, and then get books for that area.

    Don't forget to use your local library or, if you're a member, the ANA library.

    As Ardatirion says, the reference books will become more expensive the more you specialize you collection.
    I agree reference books are the next books you should buy. I like the books of David Sear: Roman Coins and their values 1-3 and Greek coins and their values 1 and 2. You will find what you need there for some time, I think.
