Am I the only one who thinks that it's not worth anything near the $76 it got bid to without meeting reserve!

    half dollar dated 196 !

8 bidders took it to $76. Perhaps they didn't notice the Kennedy half dollar dated 196. Much time was invested to write all the description for this lot.

    Very best regards,

Well, you're missing making a lot of quick bucks.

Check his completed auctions - someone paid $200+ for this and there are a few $100's.

Step right up! Step right up!.......

Anyone else old enough to remember the old poem that started "It was a dark and stormy evening, the sun was shining bright"?

They should give me $76 for looking at that junk.

How can someone spend so much time writing about, and photographing, pocket change.

    My head hurts now.

    Hmmm...

Put car on eBay, get nitwits offering you a fraction of wholesale, if they do buy it, they expect brand new or feedback extortion.

Put junk coins on eBay, fluff ad, people pay $insane, get glowing FB.

Hmmm indeed. I have stopped even trying to list cars there, I am clearly in the wrong business.

    This is my favorite part:
That leaves me with a ton of confidence. :D

I also like the grade..."XF Uncirculated." :rolling:

I decided to ask the seller this: "I was wondering what makes this coin worth $3000 as opposed to $30?". I wonder if he'll respond.

Hmm... $3,000 for an XF, or about $150-175 for a slabbed MS65... decisions..decisions..

I think when he looked at the pricing guide he slipped down a line and saw the price for the 1884-S.
