What am I looking at on this 1865 IHC?

This coin was part of an old cookie jar I recent found and sorted thru. I put it with the rest of my circulated IHC's but thought it was nice enough to put in an airtite and decided to look at it under a scope.

I noticed this, only around the "United states of Anerica" on the Obverse

I believe it's around the feathers too

Date lacks it. Believe this to be a "plain 5" type

Would be a nice coin except for this (photo thru airtite so ignore scratches)

Doubling and some verdigris. I think the doubling is what's referred to as "Longacre doubling." As for the verdigris, a soak in some Verdi-care should help it!

Outline on lettering is typical "Longacre" doubling, which is caused by features on the hub that surround the lettering not being polished off the die after hubbing. This is common on many designs of the period, with it being most well-known on Indian cents. The date doesn't exhibit this, because it is punched separately into the die.

Thanks. So basically nothing special with this coin. Rough grade?

It has VF details. The junk on the back would probably be considered environmental damage.
