http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZtnfc Hey Guys-- Do any of ya'll know anything about the above seller?.....I've found a coin that I like from him but wouldn't know for sure till I saw it in hand so I might have to return it....any +'s or -'s? Speedy
yeah, i had once bought a few 1990s ASEs from him... MS69s.. came in pretty good shape. + He ships same day... got my stuff the 2nd day after I won!
Well Roy---when a person has a few bad feedback that doesn't normaly mean too much to me---heck even I have a jerk leave me a bad feedback for not paying---he never sent me his address and I emailed again and again and asked for it....for 6 months I asked for the address and after that I left feedback stating what he had done---so he kicks me....I think every seller is going to get a few people who just leave bad feedback for the fun of it or are not into coins and get burned and take it out on a seller... Speedy
That's why I like to look at the actual negative feedback, not just the numbers. Sometimes the neutrals can be very enlightening also. As I said, you decide. It's just easier to make up your mind when you have the facts. Checking Toolhaus is an absolute essential for me any time I'm thinking about dealing with a new seller.
Speedy: I have seen their ads before, and I was impressed, until I saw the NNC and NTC slabs in the listings. Still nice coins.
Yep---your right the feedback can say alot more than the numbers... I went back and read the comments and it seems that mostly the people are saying that the coins didn't cross over to PCGS or NGC---since the coin I'm looking at is slabbed by one of those I wouldn't have that problem...the coin is fine...what I would like to know more about is...has anyone every returned a coin to them and did it go ok?? Speedy
I've purchased several slabbed coins from them and never had a problem. Can't give an opinion on raw purchases.
