Someone has to buy this 1889 Morgan! It is out of my price range. http://detroit.craigslist.org/mcb/atq/1832648916.html
Is it a cc? I don't see a mint-mark, nor does the seller claim it's a cc. If it's just an 1889 P Morgan dollar, it retails for about $22 in that grade.
i was going to email them and ask them to look and see if its a CC, but there is only a phone number and i am not calling. even if its just a P they will still think its worth what they are asking because they seen the CC go for that.
its a shame schools no longer teach spelling grammar and punctuation i find it hard to read sentences that have no punctuation does the seller say that morgan dollar is a cc i didnt think so at least he offers free delivery
Of course! He's just another sleazebayer. I just learned the other day that eBay has a 25% interest in Craig's List. Chris
I think they teach it. It is just that there is no reason to learn it. Teachers cannot fail students any more, and half the communication devises out there either don't accept punctuation/capital letters or automatically correct your mistakes. Oh, and then there are FWIW BTW, IDK, LMAO, et al.
It’s a shame schools no longer teach spelling, grammar, and punctuation. I find it hard to read sentences that have no punctuation. Does the seller say that Morgan dollar is a cc? I didn’t think so. At least he offers free delivery! I agree, it is a shame...
Yeah, it's really sad what kind of idiots are on craigslist!! Of course, not everyone on craigslist is an idiot, but you should know what I mean. Offers of this type are quite routinely posted as some ppl just don't know any better and some know better and are just trying to ripoff someone who is dumber than they are!! Craigslist, where dumb meets dumber!! On rare occasions you can actually get a really good deal, especially on guitars, amps and other equipment!! I've gotten some good deals on coins as well, but certainly nothing to write home about!!
yea, i really do not like to shop on craigslist. at least in my area there is a ton of stolen items. you go to meet the person and they got a car full of playstation 3's and flat screen tv's, true story! also i think i was being set-up trying to buy something one time. they could only meet in a real bad area of town. i google mapped the location and it was a back alley off a dead end street. the email they used was a juno(9.99 dial up that you can use a pre-paid card). the phone number was out of a different state and a prepaid phone. they also said we had to meet up in 30 minutes because they had someone else that wanted it. i told them to sell it to that person. they emailed me later and said they have another one! so maybe this person is selling something they shouldn't be... i know its looking to far into it, but just a thought...
