For some reason I have been setting aside all of the Westward Journey Nickels that I find in circulation. I’m not sure why, probably because they’re something out of the ordinary. They have average mintage numbers and can be found very easily in circulation. Does anyone see any prospect for these in the distant future, or should I just keep one of each and cash the rest in at the bank and free up some real estate. Also, despite the fact that the two series have similar mintage numbers, why does it seem as though the Westward Journey Nickels are much more plentiful in circulation than the Lincoln Bicentennial Pennies? I rarely, if ever, find any Lincoln Bicentennial Pennies. Are they horded more frequently or is there just a void of them in my region?

I grabbed a few mint wrapped rolls from the mint back in the day, but truthfully, there is nothing extraordinary here. The mint produced them in large quantities. That being said, I rarely come across them (in the wild) in these parts.......
