This information will probably interest only those living in Colorado, and perhaps neighboring states. I can't remember the last time a coin show was held in western Colorado. Neither can my friends who collect coins. So, the fact that a coin show is coming up, and it is reportedly going to be a large one, is big news. I certainly will be there. For those who are interested.: First Annual Western Colorado Coin Show. April 22-23. Holiday Inn in Grand Junction.
Cool. I live in SC. There was a coin show in Rock Hill today, and tomorrow. And then there is another one comming up in April. I have never been to a coin show before though. Always wanted to go. What do you do there, is it like a big coin market?
Exactly - there will be displays just for the looking, but there will also be many dealers with tables set up to offer their coins. You will get a chance to see coins you have never seen before - buy coins you could never find before. And you can sell your own coins if you so desire. Shows are also a great learning experience for they provide you the opportunity to talk to knowledgeable collectors and dealers and ask questions or just discuss coins. Every collector should attend as many shows as possible.
Thanks for the 'alert' Gary, I'll try and make it out of these hill and down south for a change. My oxygen hose should stretch that far at least.
