So, as I made a thread before, my roommate let me roll up all his coins (72$ worth) I brought some change to switch out if I found anything - I asked if I found anything I liked could I exchange it, he said "sure, whatever." lol, so anyways... I found 5 coins: 2 Bicentennial Quarters (Im trying to get a roll's worth). 1 AU 1964 D Lincoln Cent (which I put in my Whitman folder) 1 1959 (probably AU) Jefferson Nickel - which also went into a folder. and..... a 1957-D Rosie
Yea, every summer my brother and I go to our coin star, but before we turn in our change, we check to see if there are some nice coins worth keeping.
my sister that lives away from home has a huge jug of change too. i bet its atleast $200 worth. she's moving soon, and was talking about taking it to coinstar. i'm going to tell her next time i see her coinstar is a ripoff, and if you put $200 in change into it, it'l take almost $20 from it. i wish i got paid $20 to roll $200 in coins!:kewl:
I wonder if you could franchise those Coin Star machines. You could make a full-time job out of coin searching then!
