Die Deterioration. I got this from a local store, It appears to be Die deterioration. It not a typical die deterioration I have seen but I have not seen it all.
Yup . . . I for one am very glad you found it instead of some money-grubbing, numismatically-disinterested newb who would have persistently claimed it to be a new discovery, and accused seasoned members of downplaying the value of the coin in order to acquire it for a pittance.
Don't tempt me with the thought of possibly achieving that kind of money cause I'm broke and there are some rich idiots out there
I was going to toss it back into circulation but I got to thinking your right and if I do toss it back we would see this coin back on here in the future so I'll do the board a favor and keep it and save us the headaches from at least this particular coin.
