This method of storage (or preservation rather) is not by any means "new". I've done it, and I'm sure others do it. The AirTite allows for protect from the elements, while the 2x2 allows for easy, organized storage. -Brian
I've been doing the same thing for a lot of my ancients just for the way I store them in my safety deposit box. Makes it easier for labeling.
It's a nice way to store coins. It gives you a place to write information. In this case I think the cardboard holder is the larger size. I'm thinking they are about 2.5x2.5. Maybe even 3x3.
