you know born and raised here and have never been to the Preakness ! However I did make a few $ off it as a student at a hospital near the track { a poor Student at that time} I would sell my parking space to a would be Preakness party goer, gee $40 went quite a ways back in the day.
In 1964 the Derby was won by Northern Dancer and I just happen to have one (broke the others) mint julip glass from that year.
