So after spending $48 on a broken camera, and a big ole scare on a frankie, the day ended good. This ancient coin has been on my want list for a while now, and is one of the better examples I have seen. I think I got a pretty good deal, and am happy...I know some will say that I may have overpaid a little, I don't mind it for this coin: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220292263726 stainless
No. I think it's been cleaned. lol! I'm just giving you a hard time. Looks cool. I don't know anything about ancients. About how big is this? Do you know what it's made of?
actually, you are correct, it has been cleaned. However, this is a common practice for ancients, and is acceptable, as they are usually found buried in the ground. This is silver, and I believe it is 16mm if my memory is correct. stainless
Very nice. I picked up two from Antiquarica's auction tonight, too! An as of Nerva and a follis of Maurice Tiberius. I was actually looking at the tetrobol - you're lucky I didn't bid. ;D
Congrats on winning the bid stainless, it seems to be a nice coin:thumb: Jazzcoins Joe :whistle::whistle::whistle:
