I am not sure how that N got there but it sure was not me since these were in packaging.

I think that's just part of the design.

This is what the coin is supposed to look like.

    Clearly no N.

Take a look at the rocks next to it. The others you have posted have too much glare to show the detail.

Okay I see now. I just found it weird that it looked like a perfect N.

Makes me wonder "what was the designers name?" If it started with N it would be an interesting way to work his initial into the design.

    It's not an "N". It's a hiker holding a walking stick.

On October 7, 2011, the Royal Canadian Mint and the Honourable Peter Kent, Minister responsible for Parks Canada, unveiled this special one-dollar commemorative circulation coin honouring the centennial of the founding in 1911 of the world’s first national park service, now known as Parks Canada. This unique Parks Canada 'centennial loonie' features stylized elements representing the national parks, national historic sites and national marine conservation areas of Canada, as well as the centennial dates, a hiker and a symbolic beaver.
