Ok Fellas First off ,hello ;) this is my first post on the forum,.
Im contacting in regaurds to a very odd dime that ive found.liberty seems to be doubled
i think, the obverse side has no edge or lip around the coin, and there is no reedind on the side edge of the coin, the reverse
side of the coin seems to be fine,it almost looks as if the obverse side was never pressed correctly, the mint mark and year are
more of a smear ,any opinions on this coin would be appreciated, the dime is slightly smaller than a normal dime,
yet i dont believe this is due to spooning?

  4. Looks to me like a "dryer piece". It got pretty well circulated in a pocket or dryer. It's a neat conversation piece, but not exactly worth anything

Not sure what it would be but, it is a weird looking dime...

Looks like a dryer coin to me, it has been buffed down so much, and notice how the rim is gone

This coin was mechanically altered outside the Mint.
