Weird 1943 Washington Quarter...

    I have a 1943 Washington Quarter with a very strange 3 on it. The 3 is different from other 3's in that year. The top of the 3 curves into the center more than normal. Is this a variety? Thanks for any input.

    PMD, place a blunt nail on the top of the 3 and smack it with a hammer.
