Read the contest rules: This contest will end on Saturday January 15th. As a slight change this week, entrants have a chance to enter more than once. The first to identify the object in the attached image will get five extra entries in this week's contest. You can still enter without attempting to guess. Just make a post this week and enter the contest as normal. If you have a guess, post it in this thread. When the drawing is made, I will remove any wrong answers, duplicates, etc. Even after the correct answer is given, a member can still enter (if a post was made this week). The contest isn't over until Saturday. The image was changed to GREY SCALE to remove any metal color. This is going to be too easy for most of you, so I had to make it last more than a few minutes! Good luck. Norm
no guess as to what that is but since I just bought a 2005 redbook I will take a look through it. enter me in the drawing please. I posted in the error coins forum http://www.cointalk.org/showthread.php?t=4249 Digger
I'll try this week. http://www.cointalk.org/showthread.php?t=4285 I've look in the red book, blue book, coin prices, coin values, my collection, world coin book, auction cataloges. I've either overlooked the right coin or it's a real doozie. I'm still looking. How hard am I going to kick myself?
Count me in, I posted in Guess the Grade: JFK, among many others . I spent three hours looking through the Red Book, I can't find it. (still looking though!! )
You and me both, my newest red book is 2002 so maybe its only in the newer ones. The closest thing I can find is the star at the top of the Maine Centennial but thats not it.
