Hello, I am called Tosiriano, I do not speak English but I use a translator. I teach to my Web on Spanish currencies www.maravedis.net to you in her you will see the different types from currencies throughout last the thousand years. I have installed a version in English and French for whom they do not know the Spanish. The translation is automatic, reason why there will be some errors, but I believe that it will be of aid to that the Spanish does not know. Greetings of Tosiriano
Howdy Tosiriano - Welcome to the Forum !! I have visited your web site many times in the past and have always found it quite useful. You will be a welcome addition
Thank you. I cannot put www.maravedis.net in the forum of countries in Spain & Colonial Spanish. It can put the moderator. Thanks Greetings of Tosiriano
Tosiriano, have you thought about adding in a section on the Spanish Euro coins & Euro tokens on your website? Can you post in English on your website,as a lot of us don't speak Spanish, let alone can type in it? Aidan.
In principle I have not thought to put nothing of euro in my web site. I do not speak anything of English, single Spanish, for that reason I have put the translators to English and the French. Greetings of Tosiriano
It is rather disappointing to see no mention of the Islamic Spanish coins at all in this site !!! Islam ruled Spain for 800 years and the Muslim coinage there is quite rich and fascinating. This site is certainly missing a lot.
The entire site is also in English & French - you just need to scroll down a bit on the opening page to click on the right link.
They are not at his own site but he links to a site that focuses on coins from Islamic Spain. Click on "Enlaces" (Links). Then, in the "Numismatica" section of the Links page, there is an entry "Para ver monedas de la España hispano musulmana, puedes ver ésta página, aunque está en ingles, para entrar pulsa aquí". Do that, ie. click the link, and you will get to this site http://alandaluscoinstonegawacollection.50g.com/ which, as he writes, is in English. Christian
Hello to all, that a part of the history of the Spanish numismatica, is the dedicated one to the hispanomusulmana numismatica, period that lasted 800 years. That type of currencies I do not know them, since not to ***reflx mng the Arab and I see them all equal, not as they are the differences and I cannot classify them, so that there was something of this type of currencies, I put a Link towards a page dedicated to it. Greetings of Tosiriano
