I have read that web fed notes were experimental for a few years. I'm looking at a 1995 $1 Web note PMG EPQ 66. This seller wants $60 obo. When I read one of my books, it is listed at $12.50 for UNC 63. When books list rough values at lets say UNC 63, is that graded or not graded? I just dont want to overpay. A part of me likes the 'Experimantal Notes" just a little confused about the grading and value or if its even worth my time. Any help is appreciated. Brian
No one wants to overpay!! Books and such with values guides In them are good places to start, But you have to decide how Bad you want it!! If it,s something common maybe you can wait On the other hand if its something you might not see again maybe You should jump on it!!
Both of the 1995 web-fed blocks are common (not considering plate combos), and raw gems will usually cost about $20-25. Factor in the same to get it graded, and your TPG-65 now costs $40-50. So the seller's $60 ask is not unreasonable. Make him an offer of $45-50. Assume that values in most guides are for raw notes.
