Can some folks provide a list of what dates might be considered weak-strike Buffalo's. There are probably alot of novices such as myself that have some of these and think they are lower grade than the might actually be. I've noticed a few discussions about this area recently. Thanks for your responses.

Alot of the Buffs are weekly struck.....check out the D's and S's...the best thing I can say is read read read.
If you go back to a post I've made you can see how grading Co. sometimes even undergrade these coins....and you can get a heck of a coin if you watch.
I got a 1926-S Buff in a F15 PCI slab for about F15 price....$104...I sent it to NGC and it came back VF20....a $385+ coin....so keep an eye out and you will find great coins.

If you are interested in Buffalo nickels, I highly suggest you purchase "The Complete Guide to Buffalo Nickels" by David W. Lange A great book on the series, that will answer your question in detail and will pay for itself many times over...Mike
