It was pretty good. I met Borgovan and the Noost. We had a good conversation. Noost bought some nice looking silver certificates. I also hung out with silverstruck for a while. Bought a Dansco 7000 for my ancients. bought a few coins. I did have a really bad experience with a dealer... I was looking at a ancient dealers inventory and silverstruck was with me. We met someone (wont mention names) and began to do the trades we discussed before we got there. The ancient dealer then spoke up and said that he didn't want us trading by his table, as he paid money for his table. So, after the two poeple left I apologized and said I didn't know it was a big deal. He then said "Well, why don't you use your head? I paid money for this table". I got REALLY ticked, but kept my cool and didn't say anything. I then proceeded to look at his inventory again. I bought a few coins for a total of $31. I then asked if he had any unattributed ancients. He said he does, but it wont do me a bit of good. I ask "why?". He says " because you don't know how to do that yet". What the hell? So, I walked away, and didn't go back to his table after that. The best coin I bought was not off him too, it was off another ancient dealer that I have done good business with before. I actually forgot he had ancients..lol, but Borgovan pointed him out to me. I may have been wrong for trading in front of his table, but I think he was wrong too, IMO. Anyways, I'll get pics of the Mojo up later tonite. stainless
Well it is always best to be polite. I could see him being upset if you were blocking customers from his table, but not if you were just near it. You just made me think of something I need to post in GD.
Gotta watch trading at shows Anthony. I met a CTer at a show and showed him stuff in the lobby and was questioned about it. Hey, I wasn't even selling just SHOWING. Think of it like a big shop. Would you walk into a coin shop and start trading? Now the fact that you bought should have evened it out. Apparently to him it didn't. Chalk it up to experience.
