This ebay sale has ended, but I'm keeping an eye on the feedback that will be left: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Coin-Gold-1918-Mexico-21-6kts-Little-Over-1-2-Ounce-/221370336070?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&nma=true&si=LCIGoMSrpmkZIqMB2%2FL27Dv%2FAaw%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc The seller had -1 feedback at the time he posted this for sale, something that I've never seen. He's had one previous sale that apparently did not end well, yet somehow a handful of people decided purchasing a gold coin for just under $700 from this person was a worthy risk. I'm just interested to see what happens. Does ebay have any kind of rules about the number of negative feedbacks that you can receive before they kick you out? -StephenS
With regard to the original buyer, one might think that if they're going to call someone an "iliterate imbecile", they would at least be sure to spell it correctly.
People take a chance because between EBay's buyer protection, paypal and CC there is pretty much no way they won't get their money back. This is such a long shot though that I wouldn't even bother.
Wow that is crazy, did the buyer not look at the guys feedback or is he just dumb enough to not look at the info !!!
