Over the past year I've seen over a dozen of these on eBay in separate incidents. All dated 1882 Zacatecas mint, JS assayer. They are consistent and almost undoubtedly from the same source/maker. Some of them I have seen bid up to around the price of a real one, so I wanted to put it out there to use extra caution with this aprticular date/mint. Here is the latest one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ANTIQUE-MEXICAN-SILVER-COIN-1882-8-REALES-/320913134273?pt=US_World_Coins&hash=item4ab7e9d2c1 In case it gets taken down, images are here: http://www.auctiva.com/hostedimages...ages=575906212,575906196&formats=0,0&format=0 The reference weight given in the listing is a lie... these are lightweight non-silver copies.
