Son wants to get the pre 65 washington quarters but from what I've seen it's gonna cost about a grand just from VF and up? I'm I looking in the wrong places? Mark
NGC Price Guide PCGS Price Guide If you avoid the varieties you should have no problem collecting a very nice set (excluding the keys) for a very reasonable price, especially if you collect one coin at a time. Edit: Prices listed are a guide for certified coins, raw coins should be cheaper.
Hey Fish, please note that PCGS values are on the high side. I have no experience with NGCs price guide so I cant comment on that. You should be able to put together a nice circulated set for around $1000.
