    I seem to have difficulty grading Washington Quarters. Can you help me? Grade and value on each please. Thanks! :hail:

    Harshly cleaned at that. But still a nice coin.

    how can you tell this ones been cleaned?

    not so much the 1935 but on the 37 there is alot of places that tell it has been cleaned extensively.

    1) on the Mint mark (on the D)
    2) in god we trust
    3)under the B in liberty (on his hair,)

    all these places are the places that the cleaner of the coin could not get too, but all that said, they still look really cool.

    ok i see. so the dirt is still there only because the cleaner couldn't reach it
    I thought that dirt would be a tell that it hadn't been cleaned

    4)numerous scratches on the coins surface most likely the result of an abrasive cleaning agent
    5)dull, unnatural color

    Compare it to a nice unc, and compare the color.
