Washington quarter lumps on both sides

    This 1986 quarter has a large lump below ponytail and right of his neck, and two smaller lumps on the reverse located at mid right wing and bottom right wing next to perch. What's unusual is if it was from an impact, the lump would appear on one side or the other? Please help explain?? Thu Jan 11 19-08-53.jpg

    It's probably heat damage. Could you take some photos of the entire coin, obverse and reverse?

    Unfortunately, your coin has been damaged by heat. Also, obverse/reverse pictures of the full coin are helpful.
