Curious what bid and ask are on a 1935 d ms 63 quarter. A shop in salt lake has one but I think his price is high.

I don't think CDN lists Washies.

for something like $11/month you could look at coinfacts and see that the range for the last six sold they have a record for were between $190-$240, with one outlier at $286. and you would have been able to look it up at the shop and made a decision right then and there.

    questions.
    1. how much did he want?
    2. was it certified?
    3. was there toning or some other reason it would be valued higher then its peers?

Josh, are those numbers in the Monthly or Quarterly CDN?

@cpm9ball I have the April 2014 CDN Monthly Supplement newsletter and this coin is listed on page 8. Funny about the Washington quarters though...they don't list the whole series...seems they only list the key date\mm for the Washingtons.

I was just curious. I quit subscribing to the CDN about 7 years ago, and I didn't recall if Washies were listed or not. Thanks!

The coin was not certified it was graded 63 and I'd agree to the grade it was white with above average luster. He wanted $320 for it.

This is a common coin and the dealer wanted a lot for it; keep that in mind.

You could get a slab in that grade for less than that

I've noticed most of his prices are 20% over ask price on greysheet. He must love his coin. I want a raw one for my dansco and have thought about getting an Anacs or Igc and cracking it out.
