    I'm going with damage looks rather curved and smoothed like it was done on purpose but it could be the pictures.

    Pulled it straight out of the coin roll from the bank in 2007

    Actually found two in the role sold one on eBay for 150 bucks at that time Kept the one that had the starburst

    If it’s completely missing all edge lettering I can buy them for under $40.00, graded in MS-64 by a TPG from my LCS. In fact I have 2 of them, one is missing the edge lettering and the other in inverted.

    Yeah, the gravy stopped flowing. I remember those threads. A lot turned up in the Florida banks. The finders were selling them for $400 to $600, I remember. Some I think went for even more.

    At first they did as it was a new error. Now, it’s a common error and that’s why you can get them for under $40.00.
