Washington Dollar Error of some kind

    I'm no expert at ALL with errors, but I set aside weird things I see every now and then.

    This Washington dollar has what looks to be sections of the plating that did not adhere correctly, or something. Can anybody enlighten?

    That's called "grease splatter" if I recall correctly and is quite common on these coins.

    Oh bummer. I was hoping to have stumbled upon the "next big thing". Cool to have anyways!
